Meet a Rising Canadian Star with Charisma to Burn. Charlie Gillespie on Life, Love, and Empathy in the Romantic Dramedy Suze.

in Entertainment, What She Said on 02/19/24

Gage, a guy who just can’t graduate high school, has had a tough time. His mom passed away, his dad’s bad, his girlfriend’s left him for McGill in Montreal and he’s rootless and depressed. His girlfriend’s mother Suze, played by Michaela Watkins, offers him a room and empathy. She’s been ghosted by her daughter, and abandoned by her husband and he’s alone as it gets.

Tied together by the same lost love, they drive to Montreal on a whim to correct things. What She Said’ Anne Brodie spoke with Gillespie, an interesting and thoughtful young man.

Suze is in theatres Feb 23
