Is Love at First Sight Even Possible Without Being Cheesy? Jennifer E. Smith and Vanessa Caswill Trash the Stereotype.

in Entertainment, What She Said on 09/12/23

Jennifer E. Smith’s book The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight is the basis for Vanessa Caswill’s Netflix‘s sweet and salty adaptation Love at First Sight, starring Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy. They are Hadley, an American off to London for her father’s second wedding. She meets London-born Yale student Oliver returning home for a family gathering. They first meet at the airport and are definitely attracted and by chance sit together on the flight. Thus begins an odyssey through London that defies the odds. She’s lost his contact info, but the heart knows what the heart wants. What She Said’ Anne Brodie spoke with Smith and Caswill about this engaging non-cheesy romcom you can watch at home.

Love at First Sight debuts on Netflix Friday Sept. 15
