Pallavi Sharda and Suraj Sharma, both international stars, landed in Toronto’s Little India to shoot Wedding Season, a lively romcom about a young Indian woman and man under pressure from their mothers who are keen to marry them off. Asha and Ravi begin fake dating to get a little peace and quiet even though they want no part of the traditional wedding culture but things backfire. What She Said’ Anne Brodie asked Sharda and Sharma if their mothers ever tried to set them up. Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Ryan Murphy co-produced this sweet, spicy tale.
