From Survival to Sanctuary: Stories of Resilience and Refuge

in What She Said Podcast on 03/26/24

As March swiftly transitions into April, I find myself eagerly anticipating the arrival of warm weather and gardening, especially after enduring one of the greyest winters on record here in Ottawa. The shift to longer days has also begun to lift my spirits, despite my hatred of Daylight Saving Time. What can I say except two things can be true at the same time, right?

Thankfully, I have no such dilemma for this week’s “What She Said,” because I have nothing but love for the a range of compelling narratives this week, from the harrowing realities of sex trafficking to personal odysseys of self-discovery and the sanctuaries that provide much-needed refuge. Here’s a glimpse into the powerful stories I’ve got for you.
