Pam Westman, President of Nelvana, one of Canada’s most celebrated producers and distributors of children’s and young people’s content marks its 50th Anniversary. With four thousand titles, a library beloved for its long-running hits, and fresh new titles, Nelvana heads into the next fifty years expanding its view and celebrating with special events. The home of Sesame Street, Backyardigans, Max & Ruby, Franklin and Friends, My Little Pony, The Hardy Boys, Miss Persona – nostalgic treasures adults remember fondly and children love. What She Said’ Anne Brodie spoke with Westman about Nelvana’s vision, ideals and awesome shows.
