Denise Morrison, a recent guest on WhatSheSaid, is a self taught artist who resides in Streetsville Ontario. While being diagnosed with an illness in 2013, she discovered her passion for painting to help alleviate pain. Her blossoming career began that Spring.
She works predominantly with acrylics and is best known for her various forms of art including abstract, contemporary and impressionist using them to express the deep emotions from within her heart.
She has had a couple of successful solo shows and has donated several works to various fund raising events. She was recently voted Peoples Choice Award for her booth at Art In Park Oakville, and also participated at VAM.
She is currently a member of various arts groups in Mississauga, Oakville and Brampton and will be in future exhibitions.
