Emily Hampshire made an astounding move from the small-town comedy of the global sensation Schitt’s Creek to leading a dominantly male crew aboard an oil rig in Ireland’s treacherous North Sea. The Rig stars Hampshire as Rose who runs a traditionally male dominion; she faces up to discrimination and hostility when the rig is suddenly overtaken by a raging, mysterious enemy.
